    What Are Divan Beds

Divan beds are known for their distinct design, featuring a specifically planned hollow wooden base to provide robust support for the mattress. The base is crafted meticulously from a durable wooden frame and is expertly upholstered with a choice of premium fabric or leather, offering both aesthetic appeal and long-lasting resilience.

Are you on the hunt for a bed fit for a king? Well, maybe not a real king, but definitely a Sonno's divan bed in the UK that's fit for a regular royal like yourself! Our divan beds are so carefully handcrafted that even the forest’s woodchucks are giving them two thumbs up.

With an option added of a divan bed with drawers, you can finally have a place to stash all those extra cushions you never use (we won't tell anyone). Whether you need a bed for one, for two, or for a whole royal entourage, our collection has got you covered with the best divan beds. Because even kings need a good night's sleep, right?

Do divan beds come with a mattress?

Sadly, no. Divan beds do not come with a mattress. We love to keep you guessing and make the exciting decision of picking the perfect mattress for your bed. It's like a whimsical game of mattress matchmaking - who knew mattresses had a romantic side?

Try our "Pillowtop" collection or get all snugly with our memory foam mattresses. What are the benefits of a divan bed?

Divan beds have uncountable benefits. They are the supreme multitaskers, just like you when you are trying to juggle work, family, and social life. These bad boys are the bedroom’s superheroes equipped with secret storage compartments to rescue you from the chaos. They are the Batman of beds but with more pillows.

That's not all - divan beds uk are the monarchs of comfort. They have got your back, literally, with their even weight distribution and anti-sagging powers. And let's face it, who doesn't want a bed that's as versatile as they are?

But wait, there's more! These beds come in all shapes, sizes, and designs, so you can find your perfect match. At Sonno, we even let you play designer and customise your bed with your favourite fabrics, colours, and drawer options. It's like being the architect of your own dream bed - move over, Frank Lloyd Wright!

How many colour options are available?

At Sonno, we have cheap divan beds that are as versatile as a chameleon at a rainbow convention. With fantastic options of 27 different colours, you will have more choices than a kid in a candy store. And unlike those sketchy internet scammers, we are as reliable as your grandma's secret cookie recipe. You can release your inner Picasso with our vibrant colour palette and if you still can't decide, no worries! We will send you up to 6 free swatches so you can play "match the colour" in your space. Because who doesn't love free stuff, right?

How much length does the footboard add to the bed?

The footboard is like the bed's own little platform shoes, adding a 2-inch thickness to the end of the bed for that extra "oomph." It's like the bed's way of saying, "Check out my stylish new look, I've got some serious thickness going on at the foot!”

How much width does the wingback headboard add compared to the standard headboard?

The headboard is like a fancy plane with wings that stick out 1.5 inches on each side, ready to take off into dreamland. It's a three-inch-wide headboard just waiting for its pilot license! Who knew furniture could be so ambitious?

Are Divan Beds Easy To Assemble?

Sonno offers nothing but the best divan beds uk. They are very easy to assemble. They come with the required tools and simple instructions so you can assemble them without professional help. The process involves attaching the base pieces, headboard, and footboard. You can check our assembly guide to learn more about our easy assembly process.

    Great after-care service

After the initial builders did a poor job at putting the bed together, we had Sary and Raheem come round to fix the issue and they were great! Very friendly and helpful and got on with the job without any issues. After they’d finished, they explained to me what had happened and made sure I was happy with the bed before leaving. Great after-care service. Thank you!

Great Company with flexibility on their offers

Having finally decided on colours for our bedroom makeover, we really wanted a plush velvet king size ottoman bed with a pink plush velvet headboard. This is not an option you can select yourself so I asked the question. I received a swift response to my contact form and the Company said they could do this for me. It just goes to show that there are companies out there that listen to their prospective customers and aim to delight them, as they did me. Thank you very much.

Courteous to neighbours when parked outside, moved the van without being asked to make it easier for them to reverse out of the opposite drive (was not parked causing any obstruction) Helpful when delivering, gave additional advice on assembly. Very friendly. Thank you
